*Please pay your $300.00 maintenance fee by August 27th. This fee covers such items as: crayons, glue, scissors, workbooks, and other supplies for the room.

*Each child will need to bring a mat (no sleeping bags) and a book bag. Please don't send extra crayons or markers - too many choices make for distraction.

*You may send lunch/snack money daily, weekly, or monthly. $2.50 - 3.50 a day is a good average price for lunch and snack.

*We will use the Abeka curriculum. This is a well-rounded program, which includes a strong phonics program along with math, social studies, science, and a Bible study series.

*We will be learning handwriting through the D'Nealian method. Please help by making sure your child uses D'Nealian whenever writing.

*A classroom newsletter will be sent home periodically. Information such as instructional activities and special events will be included. A lunch menu will be sent when available.

*A refrigerator is available in the classroom if your child brings a lunch or snack item that needs refrigeration.

*Each child will be given a folder. At the end of each day, your child will be responsible for putting the papers from the day in it. Please keep the papers at home to aid in reviewing with your child. Your child will be expected to return the folders daily. I prefer notes from parents or money be sent to school in this folder instead of loose in the bookbag.
